Story Loom: Novel and Script Writing Workshop

About the Workshop Mentor

UMA T. 

Uma Taware is a professional writer who has been writing since 2009.  She has studied screenplay writing from Anupam Kher’s academy in Mumbai and has worked at Mayur Puri Films as a scriptwriter on a TV series which aired on Star Channel. She has worked in Femina magazine as a features writer and has also written content and blogs for many websites. Her work has been published in print magazines and websites. Her short stories have also been published in literary magazines and her current project, a historical novel, is nearing completion. She has also previously conducted successful script writing workshops and storytelling classes under ‘Mindtwist’. 


She has now started Storyloom to spread her love for storytelling and create a platform where budding writers, both children and adults, can come together to learn, grow and create.
