The idea of the Improv Open Stage is to platform and provide a low stake environment for improvisers of all skill levels be it amateur or expert, to perform or experiment with the craft in front of an audience - Which we at No Pressure Improv believe is an important step in a performer's journey.

At the end of each edition. The audience votes for 2 nominees amidst the jamsters who'll stand a chance to win the month-end 'Namma favourite jamster' award.

Remember, it is 'The Namma Favourite' & not 'Namma best'.

The month-end awards will also include the 'Namma favourite Jam-master' & 'Namma favourite featured team' awards. Each winner will also get a cash prize from the ticket collections for the editions through the month.

Aarti Sastry:

Aarti likes to think she has eclectic hobbies, but in real life she's just constantly jumping to the next exciting project. Two things have been relatively constant though: Improv & Cycling and both started around the same time - 2016, so she thinks there is something auspicious about that year. She loves character work & movement. Aarti was a part of India's first all woman improv troupe the 'Adamant Eves' & has performed across India in Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Chennai

No Pressure Improv is a Bengaluru based Improv Community.

We do two in-person jams a week and one online jam, bi-weekly. We also host Improv Movie Nights, Improv Open Mics, Quiz & Gamenights, Writer-Improviser Jams, Improv masterclasses and professional shows.

We aim to keep it fun and relaxed. No pressure!
