About the Event
A talk by Romanian-born Hungarian author Andrea Tompa about her literary process, followed by a conversation between the author and Naveen Kishore, Publisher, Seagull Books, as part of the Life of the Mind series.
In this epic novel, Andrea Tompa sheds light on the injustices and corruption of a regime that sought to extinguish cultural identities. A rich, layered narrative that explores the indomitable human spirit against the backdrop of Romania’s complex history in the 1950s and ’60s.
The book will be available for sale, and the author will be signing copies after the event.
