Pandit Rajendra Gangani is one of the most distinguished exponents of Indian classical Kathak today. Born into the illustrious Jaipur Gharana, he is a torch-bearer of a lineage nurtured over centuries. Endowed with magnetic stage presence and exceptional command over rhythm, he is revered for preserving the structural purity of Kathak while infusing it with contemporary vision. A master performer, choreographer, composer, and musician, Pandit Gangani has performed and conducted workshops extensively in India and across the world. His choreographic works span mythology, social concerns, abstract rhythm, and Indian philosophy. Recipient of the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award and numerous international honours, he continues to inspire generations as a dedicated Guru, ensuring the living legacy of Kathak through performance, pedagogy, and service to society.
