Pratibha Singh Baghel
Pratibha Singh Baghel is a renowned Indian singer known for her work in Hindustani classical music, ghazals, and Bollywood playback singing. Born in Rewa, she holds music degrees in Sangeet Prabhakar and Sangeet Parveen and began her training in thumris under the influence of her uncle. She gained recognition as a top finalist on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009, which launched her into the world of live performances and film music.
Her playback credits include films like Manikarnika, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Baazaar, and Dono. Her acclaimed ghazal Jheeni Re Jheeni with Rashid Khan and the album Bole Naina with Gulzar, Zakir Hussain, and Deepak Pandit showcase her classical depth. She has also released popular singles such as Dhaagey, Ilzaam, Kanha ki Preet, and Kaise—The Music of Goodbye. In 2022, she featured in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s album Sukoon, continuing her journey as one of the most soulful voices in contemporary Indian music.
