Prithibi is a Bengali rock band from Kolkata, formed in 2005. Known for their poetic lyrics and alternative rock sound, the band gained fame after finishing as runner-up in the 2005 Band-E-Mataram contest. Led by vocalist Kaushik Chakraborty, Prithibi remains active and popular in the Bengali independent music scene.
