He is a true worthy heir to the masterful tradition of Santoor pioneered by his father and teacher, Late Padma Vibhushan Pandit Shivkumar Sharma. Rahul has not only preserved the traditional classical aspect but has been equally at ease with global fusion projects and even composing for films. With more than 70 released albums and topping the US Billboard charts with his collaborations with Grammy winners such as Kenny G, Deep Forest & Richard Clayderman - Rahul Sharma has taken the 100 stringed-santoor into the world of Fusion & World music through concerts across the world.
