A dramatic visualisation with stage craft on the life of great Indian emperor of the Maurya empire , son of Bindusara
popularly known as Ashok The Great ( performed by Dishant Malhotra ) who ruled almost the entire Indian Subcontinent from c. 268 to 232 BC. The play is based on the Buddhist canonical literature found in Sri Lanka, is not a mere chronicle of his life and achievements. It portrays the King as a human being, with frailties and aspirations, and his journey towards the path of enlightenment
