The 6-piece DREAMS BAND of Zimbabwe's shooting star BLESSING'BLED' CHIMANGA

(marimba, drums & vocals) started as a trio and has been playing together for 7 years now and touring world wide together for 5 years. Their music style is marked by a unique and pure African sound created out of Blessing Chimanga's virtuous marimba playing, lead vocals and energetic entertainer talent while maestro bass player Igiel Njolomah and Tulani Kuwani on saxophone and guitar keep the groovy rhythm of the band together with

Tapiwa Chishiri on heavy pulsating drums and percussions, with vocal harmonies from Milicent Chigariro and Elisha Zimbev a music directing and leading the team.

The main attraction of their show is the high African energy and joy of playing that they bring live on stage, which makes the people dance and scream. The lyrics of the songs are in English and Shona (Zimbabwean main local language). After releasing 2 studio CDs now blessing celeberates his 10 years in music and a first CD now releasing a brand-new album right on time for their world tour 2020. So far the band has toured in India, Indonesia, Thailand, Tanzania, South Africa, Zambia, Botswana and Argentina and looks forward to perform their high voltage : Afro Grooves, Jazz & Soul Power at its best!
