Urdu finds its resonance across the length and breadth of the country. ‘Shaam-e-Rekhta’ is a step further to mark Urdu’s phenomenal outreach. This is the first time Rekhta Foundation is curating an event in Bangalore and given the large number of Urdu/Hindustani language lovers in the city, the evening at Church Street Social not only aims to reach out to those and bring them closer to Urdu but also build an appreciation for the language, amongst the youth and the uninitiated by making them experience it firsthand.
