On the occasion of World Poetry Day, we at Social are hosting an evening of special performances, curated by Rekhta Foundation, the World's Largest Website for Hindi/Urdu Poetry (www.rekhta.org).

Urdu finds its resonance across the length and breadth of the country. ‘Shaam-e-Rekhta’ is a step further to mark Urdu’s phenomenal outreach. Given the large number of Urdu/Hindustani language lovers in the capital city, the evening at antiSOCIAL, Hauz Khas Village, not only aims to reach out to those and bring them closer to Urdu but also build an appreciation for the language, amongst the youth and the uninitiated by making them experience it firsthand.
