Recorded live on location at the Shree Narsimha Saraswati Swami Mandir, Alandi, near Pune, this unique performance led by singer-priest Avadhoot Gandhi showcases the music of the Varkari Sampradaya. Avadhoot Gandhi is accompanied by Bhavarth Dekhane & Vijay Sonavne (vocals), Haridas Shinde (dimdi, sambal, vocals), Abhay Nalge (harmonium), Rajesh Baghe (pakhawaj), and Pandurang Pawar (tabla).

Bhajan, or the musical rendering of devotional verses, occupies a unique position in the spiritual, cultural and musical traditions of Maharashtra. Saint poets of Maharashtra used bhajan as a medium to propagate their teachings among the people.
