About the Event:

At Sportives, we believe in fostering a love for sports and physical activity from a young age. Our mission is to create fun, safe, and engaging events that inspire kids to get moving, build confidence, and develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime.

Children can cycle independently, or parents can join in for the ride.

Categories:

a) Mini Ride

- 1km - Age: Less than 7yrs - Non Timed

b) Junior Ride

- 2km - Age: 8 to 10yrs - Timed

c) Pre Teen Ride

- 4km - Age: 11 to 13yrs - Timed

d) Teen Ride

- 8km - Age: 14 to 17yrs - Timed

e) Family Fun Ride

- Age: 18 and above - Non Timed (Including Cycle on Rent)

f) Cycles On Rent

- Kids and Adults

Registration Includes:

a) For Non Timed categories: Includes T- Shirt, Finisher Medal, Goodie Bag and Refreshment

b) For Timed categories: Includes T- Shirt, Finisher Medal, Goodie Bag and Refreshment

c) Trophies for top 3 (Male and Female) in each Race/ Timed category

d) Family Fun Ride: Includes T- Shirt, Finisher Medal, Goodie Bag and Refreshment

e) Cycles On Rent: Recommended wheel size-

Parents are free to participate in all activities along with Kids but registration is compulsory only if they want Cycles on Rent and/or registration kit e.g. T Shirt / Medal / Goodie Bag etc..

Fully catered and way-marked ‘SPORTIVES- KIDS CYCLOTHON’ event is a fantastic way to introduce children to cycling, encourage their independence and increase confidence.

These shorter rides are great if you’re just starting out on the cycling scene, or if you want to bring your family along.

Good to Know:

a) Helmets are RECOMMENDED

b) Kids must be accompanied by an adult taking the RESPONSIBILITY.

c) You know your own ability levels and those of your children and are in the best position to decide if they can tackle the ride.

Routes are provisional, distance and elevation may be subject to change.
