About The Facilator

Saumen Khamrui Studied both undergraduate and postgraduate at Government College of Art and Craft, Calcutta. He secured a doctoral degree from Calcutta University with his research titled 'Genre Painting of Bengal: A Critical Study of Landscape (1850 to 1950)’. He participated in number of prestigious group exhibitions in India and abroad and seven solo shows on tempera painting, and has received a number of awards since his studentship. He is a member of the Society of Contemporary Artists, Kolkata.
