About the Event

When Ananya Prasad rowed solo and unsupported across the Atlantic Ocean, she faced physical and mental challenges, including encountering killer whales, isolation, colossal waves, and having to jump into 5-kilometre deep water to fix a broken boat rudder in the middle of the ocean. Overcoming a fear of water to do all of this, Ananya talks about the lessons she learned through this journey of resilience and self-discovery that are applicable to all aspects of life. Ananya became the first Indian woman to complete this challenge and came 2nd in the solo category of the event, even as the only female solo participant.

A Q&A with the audience will follow.
