About the Event

This is the 1st series for beginners and will be revolving around basics of handstand and balancing. The workshop is for all ages 8 years and above (no upper age bar).


This workshop will empower all the participants to be able to balance/stand on their hands and experience their inverted centre of gravity.

The training happens under strict vigilance of Master Rohit Chawla with various safety precautions in place to protect participants from getting injured. Further benefits and safety instructions will be explained during the sessions.


ATTENTION


People with spinal injuries or any medical history are advised to consult their doctor(s) before enrolling; also, it is advised to inform the teachers before the class.


Handstands are great fun to do. Most people believe that they cannot do handstands because of the age factor, but be assured that if you can stand on your feet, you can stand on your hands too!

FAQs
How to prepare for the workshop?
It is recommended that you rest well before the event. Report 30 minutes before the event (20 minutes at least) to have a smooth check-in and settle down well, calmed, and focus yourself for the workshop.
What to eat?
It is recommended to eat a heavy meal atleast 120 minutes before the event. Hydrate yourself well with a lot of fluids eg. coconut water or ERS before the event. Also, avoid deep fried food at least 8 hours before the event.
What to wear?
T-shirts, stretchable lowers, flat sole shoes. Basically your regular gym wear. No denims, shirts or Indian wear. No bare feet, slippers, etc.
What to carry?
