Varijashree

Varijashree blends deep Carnatic foundations with contemporary global music sensibilities, seamlessly weaving her voice and flute into fusion landscapes. A prodigious talent from Bengaluru, she began identifying ragas as a toddler and performed classical concerts by age four. Her debut original album “Vari” (2024) marks her ambition to bridge Indian classical with jazz, folk and world-music idioms. Having collaborated with luminaries like Michael League, Béla Fleck and others, she continues to push genre boundaries while remaining grounded in classical rigor.
