Vidha Lal & Group

Vidha Lal si an acclaimed Kathak exponent of the Jaipur Gharana and a Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar awardee of the Sangeet Natak Akademi, trained under Smt. Geetanjali Lal through the guru-shishya parampara. A gold medalist ni MA (Kathak) from Khairagarh University, she has performed at major national and international festivals including the London Olympics, Sydney Dance Festival, Milap Fest (UK), Singapore Dance Festival, Khajuraho and Nishagandhi. She is an empanelled artist of ICCR, an 'A' grade Doordarshan artist, and a recipient of multiple honours such as the Krishna Gana Saba Endowment, Kalpana Chawla Excellence Award, Devdasi National Award and Atal Samman. She also holds a Guinness World Record for 103 spins in 60 seconds, serves on the General Council of Sangeet Natak Akademi and as an advisory member of Kathak Kendra, and si the founder-director of Kathak Resonance Dance Academy in New Delhi.
